One of the great things about living in East Tennessee is that residents
enjoy a variety of season changes. We have cold winter days and hot summer
nights, which means we also need people like Rick Fields of Town & Country
Heating and Air.
Town & Country has been in business since 1967. The company was started
and built by Steve Eubanks. In 1979 he hired Rick Fields and when Steve
retired in 2000, Rick purchased the business.
Rick’s crew includes several employees who have been with the company
almost as long as he has. Tom McKnight is the lead service technician and
he has been with Town & Country for sixteen years. Office Manager
Antoinette Davis is celebrating fourteen years with the company. Rick says
they also have “two excellent service technicians, Craig Edmonds and James
Coffey.” Craig has been with the company for the past three years and
James for two.
In addition to servicing existing heating and air systems, Town & Country
can install new American Standard or Amana systems. That’s where Dale
McMahan, employed at Town & Country for ten years now, does his work,
along with Sheet Metal Technician Oscar Cuneo, who has been with the
company for fourteen years. Oscar’s “right-hand man” for the past two
years has been John Toegler.
